Using this site

OathReady is a free study resource provided as-is, for personal, non-commercial use in preparing for the U.S. naturalization civics test. You’re welcome to use it as much as you’d like.

Not legal advice

OathReady is not a law firm and does not provide immigration legal advice. Nothing on this site should be taken as legal guidance about your specific case. For advice about your eligibility, application, or interview, consult an accredited immigration attorney or representative.

Not affiliated with the government

OathReady is an independent, privately operated website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by USCIS, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency. Official information about the naturalization process is available at uscis.gov.

Accuracy of content

We adapt our civics question content directly from official USCIS publications and work to keep officeholder answers current. However, some answers (such as the names of current officials) can change with elections or appointments. We encourage you to confirm current answers at uscis.gov/citizenship/testupdates before your interview. We make no guarantee that content on this site is complete, current, or error-free, and use of this site is at your own risk.

No warranty

This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any outcome of your naturalization interview or application.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
